
The Milke(s) (mĭl‘kē) (n): Two people united by marriage consisting of a Mr.(Jonathan) and a Mrs. (Amanda) who together assist each other in the daily maintenance of their sanity. Usage: The Milkes are an odd couple with a blog.

Milky (adj): Resembling milk in color or consistency.
Usage: The milky white blog pages remind me of the couples’ endearing smiles.

Is a Struggling Abstract Artist.
Struggling in the sense that there are days when she hates the art culture and days when she wants to rule it.
Abstract in the sense that everything she sees needs to be changed or she gets bored
and
Artist in the sense that everything she touches ends up being objectified and colored.
She has a BA in English & History and is TESL Certified.
She has a habit of leaving her socks around the house, yelling “puppy” whenever she sees a dog, and has an aversion to doing the dishes.
She, unlike most women, is notorious for forgetting their Anniversary date.
Mr. (Jonathan)
Is a Grammarian, Hobbyist Gypsy.
Grammarian in the sense that he notices when professors misuse commas but ignores his own misuse.
Hobbyist in the sense that he has a ridiculous number of life-dominating hobbies, none of which are able to dominate because there are too many.
and
Gypsy in the sense that he always wants to be somewhere else and would be if he could.
He has a BA in English with a very LARGE minor in Communications and is also TESL Certified.
He has a habit of sharing no more than 3 chips from a bag, reading while walking, and has an aversion to doing the dishes (Dishes pile up around here).
He, unlike most men, is notorious for remembering their Anniversary date.

Mr.(Jonathan) & Mrs. (Amanda) met while studying in Oxford at Regent’s Park College, Oxford University.
They returned to Canada, became friends, and romance developed over really bad Kung Fu movies, sushi, and Baha Rosa.
They got married on August 21, 2004 in a torrential downpour.
After graduating from University, they moved to Iwate, Japan for 2 years.
They are presently living outside of Edmonton, Alberta.
They will be celebrating their 5th anniversary this year, for which the traditional gift is wood…
